Meet Dr. Fox
Dr. Julie A. Fox grew up in Indiana. She attended Indiana University in Bloomington, IN., where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Fox completed her DDS degree at Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI. Upon graduation from dental school, she entered into her General Practice Residency program at Richard A. Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Fox is a general dentist who practices in Minocqua, Wisconsin.
Dr. Fox has served as a trustee from the Wisconsin Dental Association’s Northwest Region 1 since 2007-2013. In addition to numerous WDA committee assignments, she also is a member of the WDA Foundation Board of Directors and participates on the foundation’s Donated Dental Services Committee.
Dr. Fox is a past-president of both the Central Wisconsin Dental Society and Marathon County Dental Society. She was named a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy in 2008. In October of 2011 Dr. Fox received the highest honor in Dentistry and was elected as a fellow of the International College of Dentists.
Her local community volunteer efforts include serving as vice chair of the Marathon County Board of Health. She also chairs the Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting Advisory Board at Northcentral Technical College.
Dr. Fox was instrumental in bringing the WDA Foundation and WDA Mission of Mercy to Central Wisconsin. 1.12 million dollars of dental care was provide to the community.
Dr. Fox resides in the Minocqua area and enjoys boating, water skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and playing cards with family and friends.
